We will gather at Dundas Square at 1pm and will begin with a rally featuring an opening ceremony with Wanda Whitebird, following speakers that will address our May Day Themes.
The march will begin around 2pm and will snake through the downtown core to remind the business district of the power of workers, with or without immigration status, on this historic day. We will chant, we will sing, we will dance, we will bang our drums, and together we will make sure the celebration of our struggles is heard loud and clear.
The march will end at Regent Park, at the park one block east of Parliament and Dundas St. E. In the park, we will have food, and listen to more inspiring speakers discuss their experiences organizing for justice in these tough times.
This is a family friendly march, kids are welcome and encouraged to attend. See you there!
